Nurses are doing high quality research.
The author, a resident of the Philippines, looks forward to another great research congress.
I am greeted by the cool air of Calgary, but the warm smile of Sigma nurses keeps me bursting with excitement. This is the fifth International Nursing Research Congress I have attended and, as always, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) lives up to my expectation of excellence.
Of 1,200 nurse attendees this year, 1,000 are presenters! This means that nurses are doing high quality research and are enthusiastic about disseminating it in the global nursing arena.
What a wonderful time to have academic exchange and research collaborations. Nursing science rocks! Go Sigma! Let us be change agents for a healthier society. Let us create evidence for practice and evidence for policy. RNL
